Stained Glass Window HangingsLightScreens are important in finishing off an Arts & Crafts environment. I’ve always been spellbound by the intricate art glass and lead creations filtering light thru a prairie style home.
The technique I use for my screens is a little different. Replacing the lead dividers with hardwood gives the piece a more organic, natural feel. All original geometric designs intertwine colorful glass and wood in geometric patterns. LightScreens vary in size & orientation, and can be as large as 18" x 22". Stained Glass Silhouette Window HangingsSilhouette Window Hangings are smaller works that hang in a window individually or as a grouping. The scene is cut from baltic birch using a scroll saw. The silhouette is stained black, backed with colorful art glass and framed with naturally finished hardwood.
